Originally published Sunday, November 29th 2020 In October we were thrilled to receive two grants totaling over $130,000 from the City of Thornton, Colorado. The grants, awarded as part of the CARES Act funding, allowed us to donate 4,000 produce boxes to Thornton residents in just three weeks. According to the City of Thornton Community Connections Division, 91.28% of Thornton Elementary School students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program, the highest in District 12.
